And I have butterflies in my stomach. I haven’t been this excited since our wedding day! This really was our dream home, and we were able to get it. It’s not a mansion or anything, but it is what we wanted and were looking for. In my line of work, which is working for Home Care Assistance Grand Strand, I see a lot of senior citizens that decide to stay at home regardless of if they need special care, or around the clock care. It’s understandable, and there are companies out there that provide precisely those services, like mine does. Still, a part of me thought that perhaps these people would be happier around company, and that is their age at that. I don’t know. Now that I realize I get to live in my dream home, I think I would be hiring these services for myself down the line.
Who’s the little guy?
Oh, my goodness, I just found the wonderful blog Irregular Times. And this post from last year made me nearly dissolve into a puddle of giggly goo. Thank you, God, for creating the Web so smart people can make fun of dumb people.

Important Instructions

Okay, I just stole this link from the [title of show] blog, but I was so excited to find out that Pixie Stix have instructions on their proper use!
A Cool, Refreshing Claritini
Ah, it’s spring. My favorite season. Nature really comes alive. I think I’ll kick back with my favorite springtime beverage.
CLARITINI
- 3 oz. cat hair and dust-infused vodka
- Several seasonal weeds
- Pollen
Rim chilled cocktail glass with pollen. Shake gin with ice and pour (do not strain) into glass. Garnish with weeds.
Kathy Lee Gifford’s Under the Bridge!!!

I just found out (not that I asked) that Kathy Lee Gifford wrote the book and lyrics to a rather insipid-sounding Off-Broadway musical, Under the Bridge. Whoda thunk it?
I’m not about to buy the cast album and I hope no one ever subjects me to its contents. But I do like saying “Kathy Lee Gifford’s Under the Bridge!!!” and I hope to slip it into conversation for a while. Frequently.
